Yantai is the birthplace of Chinese wine industry and the only“International Vine and Wine City ”awarded by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) in Asia. Yantai currently has more than 160 wine production companies, with a wine production of 2,530,000 hectoliter in 2018, achieving an output value of 15.67 billion yuan, accounting for 40.22% and 54.32% of the national total respectively. 煙臺欲制定《煙臺葡萄酒產區保護條例》

占中國葡萄酒產量四成以上的山東省煙臺市將嚴格產區葡萄保護。1月12日上午，煙臺市十七屆人大四次會議舉行第二次全體會議，華夏酒報記者此間獲悉，煙臺市人大常委會將制定《煙臺葡萄酒產區保護條例》，以發展壯大這個百年之久葡萄酒產業。

煙臺是中國葡萄酒的發祥地，也是國際葡萄與葡萄酒組織（OIV）授予亞洲唯一的國際葡萄·葡萄酒城，據華夏酒報記者掌握的權威數據，煙臺市目前擁有160余家葡萄酒生產企業，2018年葡萄酒產量25.3萬千升，實現主營業務收入156.71億元，分別占全國總量的40.22%、54.32%。葡萄酒作為煙臺的傳統特色產業在中國葡萄酒產業當中占有重要地位。（華夏酒報融媒體團隊 發自山東煙臺）
